the challenge   Today we are playing In Reverse — an open invitation to look around us and capture anything that we find interesting. Then, we will use the Insight we capture to come up with a new Seed — one we can play with in the future. Here’s what I came up with. my insight   I had a day off, so my wife and I decided to spend the day in Jerusalem. It’s been quite a while since we visited Jerusalem, and in a sense, it was like traveling abroad. The sights, the smells, and the sounds were ones we are not accustomed to, so we had plenty of opportunities to experience and observe. And, so we found ourselves under these famous colorful umbrellas in a beautiful little street in the center of the city. I couldn’t resist taking a photo, and about one hour later I was glad that I had. In a completely different location, I found a small stand outside of an old shop selling colorful Jewish Kippas. They reminded me of the umbrellas in color and shape, but what was even more important is that both of them are used to cover the person … Read More

This post includes a contribution by Tom Harris. the challenge     I wanted to do this for a long time as part of Habit Zero, but somehow I didn’t. Like many great things, what happened today was not planned — it just happened, and I am grateful for my friend Tom Harris for that. So, today we are playing Ping Pong, and for that you’d have to choose a friend or a family member to play with. It starts with a creative exploration inspired by a Seed. Once you have an Insight, share it with your friend and ask them to use it as inspiration for their Insight. Ready to play? Let’s go. ~~my~~ our insights   This beautiful day started with a creative exploration in Tel-Aviv. Most of the time, I just looked around for interesting things, but from time to time I picked a Seed to play with. When I played with the Flag Seed, I found this amazing blue circle on a ceiling. I called it: Japan in Blue. I didn’t plan to play with the Ping Pong Prism today, but as I often do, I shared my Insight with a friend (I just had to … Read More

the challenge   It’s open creative exploration day, so look out for anything unusual — anything that catches your attention would make excellent raw material for imagining and reflecting.

my insight   I took my youngest child to the kindergarten today, and during this five-minute walk, we tried to find interesting things in the street.

the challenge   Today we are playing with a special Prism designed for revisiting Insights we captured. It is Friday, and I am about to go on a photo walk in this perfect winter day and then revisit the Insights and find a theme that can connect a few of them. If you don’t have a chance to capture seedless Insights during the day, this would be a perfect opportunity to explore your Insight Journal and revisit Insights you have captured in the past months. Let’s see what theme we will end up with.

the challenge   Today we are using a ReShape Seed for our creative exploration. Playing with a ReShape Seed is always a nice refresher. It opens a whole new set of possibilities, associations, and with them surprises. You might recall I already played with the same Seed a few weeks ago. When I use the Master Your Creativity channel, Seeds and Prisms are randomly picked from the seempli collection, so there’s always a chance to revisit the same Seed again. And that’s actually an opportunity — an invitation to challenge our imagination and see things from yet another perspective, or giving them a new interpretation.

the challenge   This is a strange tale of coincidence, or strange connections being fired in my brain, or both. It begins with a movie.

the challenge   Our creative exploration today is focused on cubism. We can look for things related or made of cubes, or we can try looking for something that looks like a cubist artwork.

the challenge   It’s 6AM and the challenge I got today is based on the Technicolor Prism. The guidelines are simple: I should capture an Insight based on the color of the Seed card while ignoring its text. That’s not the default play-mode with seempli, and that’s exactly why this is going to be interesting. In a sense, focusing on the color activates different areas in the brain than focusing on the text. The Seed randomly selected along with the Prism is the Tension Seed, but that’s beside the point. It is its orange color that I should focus on…
