the challenge   It’s been quite a while since the last Habit Zero entry. If you are wondering why, I invite you to visit TheCreativityOS.com and start reading a new project I am working on in parallel. So, today, we have a special treat with a fun Maker Prism. Instead of creative exploration, the Tick Tock Prism challenges us to design (or even create) a clock inspired by the Seed. It is up to you to decide if you interpret this challenge as merely decorating a clock in the spirit of the Seed, or rethinking the concept of a clock from the ground up. The idea of the Tick Tock Prism is not to come up with something practical. Any idea, as crazy as it gets, is excellent, as long as it could be titled “A Clock.” For inspiration, have a look at these crazy clocks created by Mateen Baas. Ready? Time is ticking… my insight   So… Lost in Translation… When I saw this Seed, my first thought was focused on the word Translation. I thought of a clock showing the time as text, as opposed to using digits, and using a different language every minute. 11:23 will be … Read More

the challenge   Our creative assignment for today is to create a sculpture out of toys or part of toys. The Seed the sculpture should be inspired by is Change. Let’s see how it goes..

the challenge   Today we take our creative practice to the kitchen. Our assignment when playing with the Sous Chef Prism is to create an Insight using things we can find in the kitchen. What things? Well, practically anything, as long as it is in your kitchen. And the outcome of this challenge is as open: a sculpture, a kind of drawing done with stuff you find, a dish you prepare — anything goes. The Seed we are playing with is the Time Zone Seed. Ready? Let’s play!

the challenge   Our assignment today is to create a collage inspired by the Zoom Seed. We already played with the Zoom Seed using a different Prism a while back. That’s in fact one thing that makes seempli so special: every time you play, you need to surprise yourself. Which makes every iteration a bit more difficult than the previous one. Strange, isn’t it?

the challenge   There’s nothing like starting the day with a boost of creativity, and the challenge I got today was a dose of the creativity in its purest form. The challenge today is based on the On Paper Prism. Unlike the creative exploration we’ve done in the past few days, this is a Maker Prism — its essence is to create something. With this specific Prism, I should capture an Insight made of papers, and without drawing or writing. The Insight should be inspired by the Together Alone Seed.

The Next Kindle

Lidor WyssockyDaily Creative Challenge

We had so much fun with The Twin Keyboard two days ago that we just had to go for another round of Next Gen. But today we are going to limit ourselves to a specific device. Today we are going for a fresh take on… the Kindle. And we are going to use the Flood Seed for inspiration.

Today we are going to do something different. Instead of just exploring the world for Insights we are going to actually change it. Today we are playing with the Next Gen Prism and the Twins Seed.
