the challenge   Today I invite you to go back in time. Believe it or not, we have the technology. All it takes is to choose a domain or a period, do a quick search, and you are on your way. Pick some theme or a time you would like to visit, and then, using music, movies, clothes, or whatever comes to mind, visit that place and time.

the challenge   When I opened seempli’s Master Your Creativity page this morning I got the Story Line Prism and with it the Jazz Seed. It was (and still is) a rainy Saturday and I didn’t feel like going out exploring the streets. So instead, I used this chance for a different kind of exploration.

reflection   Last night I went to see one of my favorite Israeli artists: Rona Kenan. It’s been almost eight years since she released her previous solo album. A lot has happened in this time, and as often is the case, you don’t realize that something is missing until it comes back into your life, even for a short time. That’s how I felt when a few weeks ago a new song by Rona Kenan showed up in my Spotify recommendations.

the challenge   Today we will play with one of my all-time favorite Seeds. The My Music Seed. The reason I love this Seed is that it send me to an exploration based on a song I love. And this connection between music, imagination, and how we interpret the world fascinates me. I love music and when it connects to the real world, it is truly magical.

the challenge   I love this song by Suzanne Vega. And my love for it starts with its title. It’s enigmatic and sad, and it makes me wonder and imagine. Whether or not you know the song, this title makes a perfect Seed. So, today I will play with it and see if I can find small blue things. Here we go…

the challenge   Today we are about to play with a Maker Prism — a Prism challenging us not just to explore and capture but also to create something. If you feel the upcoming challenge is somewhat childish that’s great! One of the important things we are aiming for is to recreate the way we imagined and created as children.

A few years ago, during one of my photo walks, I came across an ordinary WC sign with abstract man and woman figures. They were standing by each other as if they want to get closer, to hold hands, but they couldn’t. From a distance, they seemed white, but as I got closer, I noticed they are dirty, maybe even burnt, as if they had a pretty rough time. I took my camera out, and as I pointed it to the two flat figures I started to hear inside my head one of my favorite songs: Romeo and Juliet.
